I love Google.
Ridiculous. The Guardian in 1977 for April Fool’s Day ran a story about describing a fake island, using typography puns/plyas on words for many of the names of locations and important people in the “nation.”
This is an interesting article on how the author of this iPhone app takes the Wikipedia data dumps and strips them down and compresses it all to fit into 2.1 GB.

This looks incredibly intelligent. It literally interprets what you’re searching for to figure out your answer, rather than merely running it through an index. It doesn’t compete directly with Google, though I have to imagine big-G is trying things like this, too.
One of the guys in this band is the host of the TV show I produce, and the video was made by one of my best friends Peisin. Awesome. I love the spin the bottle scene.
